Security

A pioneer in the security and fraud prevention industries, IPD developed the Fraud Fighter Model UV 16, the first compact dual light counterfeit detector which is now the industry standard used by the largest banks, retail operations, law enforcement agencies, government agencies and businesses across the US.

Gaining international recognition, one of IPD’s lead inventors formulated and manufactured the purple ink that Iraq used during its 2005 elections to fight voter fraud. Millions of people worldwide saw on television and on line the proud Iraqi people waving their purple finger in the air. People thought they knew what the magic stain was made of, but none of them knew that the secret was not even a dye. It was a colorless reagent that reacts with the skin.

The inventor is responsible for the development of the first, black-ink, non-staining fingerprint pads that are prevalent in banks, check cashing agencies, supermarkets and notary offices. The inventions and patents were used by Nigeria in 2004 to combat voter fraud (440,000 pads).

In addition, the same IPD development personnel have been the innovator of many of the original, "true inkless" fingerprint pads for these industries. These products are currently being sold by IPD’s subsidiary as well as leading security and forensic companies.
