IPD’s FLIP meat patty is unique in that it can monitor desired cooking levels as the label presents a visual indicator of the internal temperature of the patty while it is cooking, uncovered in a pan or on a grill. After the label has tripped to reveal the printed ink's color change, simply remove the label, flip the meat patty and cook it for another 60 seconds. For safety, this food solution can also tell you if the meat has ever been thawed or whether it has been cooked at a sufficient temperature to kill harmful bacteria such as e.coli. Finally, these labels can also help preserve raw meat by means of the anti-microbial coating applied to both sides.
