Arthur Michie is the founder and president of Uveritech and IPD. He is the inventor of the Fraud Fighter UV 16 and the co-inventor of the CHIPS system. Mr. Michie stated, “Let us not only share ideas and information, but also work to create new technologies that fight costly crimes. Let us continue to collaborate to eliminate issues with a reliable solutions approach so that together we can win the war against financial crime and promote a culture that encourages ethical conduct.”

Doug Arndt, director of R & D, was formerly the head of R & D for a Fortune 200 corporation. The holder of more than 20 personal patents, Mr. Arndt developed many others for previous employers. Some featured developments include the Inkless Fingerprint Pad and other specialty inks used in recent elections to provide efficacy in the balloting process in new and emerging democracies. His areas of expertise include: specialty inks and coatings, formulations chemistry for liquids and powders, patent applications, fingerprint pads, forensics product development, color-change inks and coatings, fluorescence technology, spot-test reagents and personal care products.

Vince Hatty serves as manager of new business development at IPD. He has many years of laboratory management and quality control experience for specialty ink companies with special expertise in security ink product development. Mr. Hatty has developed substitute anti-microbial coatings to replace brand name chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) and other technologies. He is also an expert in FDA direct food contact inks and coatings. Mr. Hatty is a member of CACP, BASCAP, TAPPI and NINESIGMA.
